The International Mathematical Olympiad "Tournament of Cities-2021" was held at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the L.N. Gumilev ENU.
The organizers are the Department of Algebra and Geometry. Chairman of the local jury: PhD Nauryzbayev Ruslan Zhumabayevich
Chairman of the local organizing committee: Associate Professor Sarsekeev Abdrakhman Saparovich.
Members of the organizing committee: Associate professors of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling Suleimenov Kenesary Mashimovich and Nurtazina Karlygash Begakhmetovna, as well as undergraduates of ENU Saparbaykyzy Altynai, Ergashev Daurenbek and Alzhasov Bolat. The Olympiad was held in Engineering Building No. 3 in two stages: Basic version 10.10.2021; Complex version 24.10.2021. Students of seventeen schools of the city of Nursultan took part. The Tournament of Cities is an international math olympiad for schoolchildren.
Features: - students from 25 countries of Europe, Asia, South and North America, Australia and New Zealand participate simultaneously; - the Olympiad focuses participants on in-depth work on each task and develops the qualities necessary in research work; - participants with the best results receive a Diploma from the Central Organizing Committee in Moscow.
