6В05403-Mechanics-applied mathematics educational programme
The aim of the educational program "6B05403 - Mechanics-applied mathematics" is to train qualified bachelors - mechanics for different branches of science and education, related to the calculation and design of complex mechanical systems.
In order to achieve the objective following tasks are identified:
- To develop skills to identify models of mechanical systems;
- To train student to form differential equations describing the dynamics of the process occurring in the system;
- To enable students to analyze the problems of mechanics deformable solids and mechanics of gas and fluid;
- To recruit TS, with the assistance of faculty students, develop new approaches of research in continuum mechanics, in fluid mechanics, in mechanics of deformable solids and experimental sciences;
- To teach how to apply the finite element method in experimental studies of mechanical structures for strength, rigidity and stability;
- On the basis of the EP to organize and conduct research work in the department,
- Summarize and draw conclusions based on the results of research work;
- Give a broad concept of the history of mechanics and its role in the development of fundamental and experimental sciences;
