Teachers of the Department of Higher Mathematics Matin Dauren Tyulyutaevich, Kenzhebekova Gulmira Saginganovna, Ilyasova Meruert Temirbekovna and Tungushbaeva Dariga Imanzhusupovna on April 29, 2022 held the III (city) stage of the republican mathematical tournament "Bastau" for students of grades 2-4 of educational institutions of the city of Nur-Sultan on the basis of a specialized lyceum No. 82 "Daryn" (schools with the Kazakh language of instruction) and school-lyceum No. 89 (schools with the Russian language of instruction).
The main goal of the tournament is to identify gifted children in mathematics among primary school students, to form the Olympic reserve of students in mathematics, to increase interest in mathematics and mathematical knowledge of students.
Each round determines the individual and team championship. The students who scored the highest scores were awarded diplomas of I, II, III degrees and diplomas. The best team got a ticket to the republican stage.
