On 15th of March 2018 at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain) Jumabayeva Ainur has successfully presented and defended her PhD thesis in mathematics senior lecturer of the Department of Fundamental Mathematics on the topic "Liouville-Weyl derivatives, best approximations, and moduli of smoothness" under the guidance of professor of the Center for Mathematical Research Tikhonov Sergey.
The decision to award a PhD in mathematics was made unanimously by a dissertational committee, which included such well-known experts in mathematics as Elijah Liflyand (Bar-Ilan University, Israel), Joaquim Martin Pedret (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain) Iurii Kolomoitsev (University of Lübeck, Germany).
