At the disposal of the department there are all the necessary material and technical means for the preparation of qualified specialists and the implementation of research projects.
For the organization of the educational process for the department is fixed office "Methods of teaching mathematics" (aud. № 224). The office is equipped with modern material and technical base: an interactive whiteboard, a 3D projector, a computer, special educational tools, stands with graphs and tables. For the educational process, the department makes extensive use of multimedia tools.
Also in the office are collected issues of different years of the journals "Kvant", "Mathematics at school", textbooks necessary for teaching mathematics in high school, in high school.
